09/04/2010 - W. Volleyball
The Mizzou volleyball team improved to 5-0 in 2010 after sweeping Rice, 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 27-25), in match four of the Pepperdine Asics Challenge on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 4) at Firestone Fieldhouse. The sweep is the Tigers' fifth of the season and they hit .357, marking the fourth straight match that they have eclipsed the .300 mark.

The Mizzou volleyball team improved to 4-0 on the season after sweeping Eastern Washington, 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-17), in game one of the Pepperdine Asics Challenge at Firestone Fieldhouse on Friday (Sept. 3). Senior outside hitter Paola Ampudia (Cali, Colombia) paced Mizzou with 16 kills on .312 hitting while reigning Big 12 Rookie of the Week Molly Kreklow (Delano, Minn.) dished 37 helpers, leading a Mizzou offense that hit .311.

After claiming the Tiger Invitational title last weekend, the Mizzou volleyball team will hit the road for the Pepperdine/Asics Challenge in Malibu, Calif., this weekend. The Tigers will open play on Friday (Sept. 3) against Eastern Washington. The Tigers will also square off against teams from Rice and Pepperdine.

08/30/2010 - W. Volleyball
Freshman setter Molly Kreklow (Delano, Minn.) earned Big 12 Rookie of the Week for her performance at the Tiger Invitational as announced by the league office on Monday (Aug. 30). Kreklow put together a tremendous first three matches as a Tiger with 109 total assists, good for a Big 12-leading 12.11 per set as she was named Tiger Invitational MVP.

08/28/2010 - W. Volleyball
The Mizzou volleyball team improved to 3-0 in 2010 after sweeping Utah Valley, 3-0 (25-18, 25-12-25-21), to claim its sixth Tiger Invitational Title at the Hearnes Center on Saturday (Aug. 28). Freshman setter Molly Kreklow (Delano, Minn.) was named the Tiger Invitational MVP after spreading 109 assists on the weekend - 38 of which came in the Tigers' win over Utah Valley Saturday evening - as she averaged 12.11 per set over the weekend, a mark that currently leads all Big 12 setters.
