Former Major League Baseball player Daryl Strawberry will be the guest speaker at Mizzou Baseball's First Pitch Celebration, which is set for Jan. 15 at the Holiday Inn Select Executive Center. The festivities will begin at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the event can be purchased for just $20.

Unlike yesterday's pitcher's duel, game four of the Missouri Baseball Fall World Series had much more firepower, with the Black team capitalizing on four Gold team errors to win the game 9-5, and the series, 3-1 Saturday afternoon.

Behind the the command of pitcher Jeff Scardino, the Gold Team of the Missouri Tiger baseball squad earned its first win of the Fall World Series Friday night over the Black team 3-1.

The Black team picked up a 12-6 come-from-behind victory on Tuesday to take a 2-0 lead in Mizzou's Fall World Series. After falling behind 6-1, the Black squad scored the final 11 runs of the game, including putting together two four-run innings.
