Head coach Cuonzo Martin’s squad will play fourth game in Orlando area in addition to AdvoCare Invitational
COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou Men's Basketball will head to Orlando for the first matchup in program history against UCF, scheduled to be played Nov. 30 at CFE Arena. The home-and-home series brings a return game to Mizzou Arena for the 2018-19 season on a to-be-announced date.
"It's a huge benefit that our team will play a true road game so early in the season," head coach Cuonzo Martin said. "Adding intriguing games to our future schedules, both at home, on the road and at neutral sites, will be a focus of ours in the years to come. We'll always look to construct nonconference schedules that best fit our program, while additionally spreading the Mizzou brand."
Playing in the 2017 AdvoCare Invitational from Nov. 23-26 alongside the Knights, the Tigers are also in the tournament field with Long Beach State, Marist, Nebraska, Oregon State, St. John's and West Virginia. Mizzou and UCF will meet up for the Nov. 30 game as a fourth exempted, non-bracketed game out of the AdvoCare Invitational field.
