COLUMBIA, Mo. – No. 24 Mizzou Softball (21-16) concludes its season high eight-game homestand on Tuesday (April 11) with a doubleheader against Western Illinois. Game one between the Tigers and Leathernecks inside Mizzou Stadium is scheduled for 4 p.m. CT.
Both games of Tuesday's double dip will broadcast live on SEC Network + via WatchESPN. General admission tickets for Mizzou and Western Illinois' matchups will be available for only $3 each. Fans can also take advantage of "Taco Tuesday" with $3 tacos available at Mizzou Softball Stadium concessions throughout the night.

Series Snapshot
- Mizzou leads the all-time series over Western Illinois, 34-4.

Mizzou Adds Another Ranked Win to Resume
- The Tigers opened last weekend's (April 7-9) series against No. 25 Arkansas on a high note, earning a 1-0 shutout victory.
- Senior RHP Cheyenne Baxter tossed yet another gem in the circle, limiting the Razorbacks to four hits over seven innings while striking out eight batters.
- Mizzou produced the game's lone run in the third inning, as freshman Gabby Garrison tallied a stolen base and took advantage of two passed balls to cross the plate.
- Friday evening's win marked the Tigers' sixth top 25 nationally ranked triumph this season. Additionally, Mizzou now has seven victories over teams currently ranked in the top 30 of the latest NCAA RPI rankings.
Tigers Own Impressive History Over Western Illinois
- Mizzou has enjoyed substantial success over the Leathernecks, as it holds a 34-4 advantage in the all-time series.
- The Tigers have met Western Illinois for mid-week doubleheaders in each of the past four seasons (2013-16). Mizzou has gone a perfect 8-0 in those matchups, while outscoring the Leathernecks, 66-16.
