Setting the Stage
- Mizzou Baseball will close its 11-game homestand with a two-game midweek series against in-state foe Southeast Missouri this Tuesday and Wednesday at Taylor Stadium. Tuesday's game will feature a 6 p.m. first pitch while Wednesday's game will begin at 4 p.m. Each game will air live on SEC Network+ with Ben Arnet and Ashley Moore on the call. KTGR 103.1 FM/1580 AM will also have the games with Tex Little and Trevor Coleman providing the commentary.
- Mizzou is currently 6-3 through nine games of its 11-game homestand but is coming off of a doubleheader sweep at the hands of Youngstown State last Saturday. Both losses came by just one run as Mizzou had chances in each contest but could not get a timely hit. In all, Mizzou has won 11 of its last 14 games.
- Mizzou and Southeast Missouri have played 33 times over the years with Mizzou owning a 22-11 advantage in the all-time series. The Redhawks claimed last year's lone meeting, 8-5, on May 5 in what was the final nonconference game of the season for Mizzou.
