Preseason Basketball Event Set for October 10

Fans can get their first look at the Mizzou men's and women's basketball programs at Tiger Tipoff – a new preseason event at Mizzou Arena.
Tiger Tipoff is slated for Friday, October 10 as the two programs are set to host an open practice. Additionally, the night will include autograph sessions and a chance to hear Whitten Family Men's Basketball Head Coach Dennis Gates and first-year women's basketball head coach Kellie Harper talk about their teams plus a live DJ and inflatables.
The weekend event all leads to a nationally-ranked football game at Memorial Stadium as the Tigers host Alabama at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Mizzou Arena doors for Tiger Tipoff open at 5:30 p.m. with the event slated to run from 6 to 7:45 p.m., ending with autographs for both teams.

Fans can still lock in their season tickets for the 2025-26 campaigns as the Mizzou men's program hosts 18 opponents – including a school-record 10 that made the NCAA Tournament one season ago – while the women also welcome 18 schools to Mizzou Arena as they being a new chapter under Coach Harper.
