UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Mizzou volleyball senior Paola Ampudia (Cali, Colombia) was selected to the Penn State Regional All-Tournament team for her efforts in the Tigers' Sweet 16 match against 12th-seeded Duke last weekend. Ampudia led Mizzou with 21 kills on .255 hitting while pitching in a pair of blocks and 10 digs in the loss. She is the first Tiger to land on an All-Tournament team since both Lindsey Hunter and Nicole Wilson did so in 2005.

Ampudia was joined on the All-Tournament team by Penn State's Blair Brown, Arielle Wilson and Kristin Carpenter, Oklahoma's Brianne Barker and Duke's Sophia Dunworth and Kellie Catanach. Overall, Ampudia led Mizzou with 60 kills (4.62 per set) in three NCAA Tournament matches, doing so on .268 hitting with 33 digs and seven blocks (five solo, two assists). Her 60 kills and 66 points were team highs and her 33 digs ranked second on the team in the three post season matches.
