COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou volleyball program is hoping for big crowds in the final week of the regular season as it faces Kentucky and Alabama while looking to secure its 11th NCAA Tournament appearance in 13 seasons. The Tigers rank among the top 20 teams nationally in average attendance and are offering plenty of promotions for their loyal fans this week.

Starting Wednesday in what is a huge match for the Tigers' NCAA Tournament chances, the Tigers are running their annual canned food drive as they look to `Can the Wildcats.' Any fan who donates two canned food items will receive free admission to the match with the Wildcats. The canned food items benefit the Central Missouri Food Bank as it prepares for the Holiday season. Also, Wednesday's match will feature a Kid's Carnival, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

On Friday against Alabama, the Tigers will honor their fans with `Fan Appreciation Day' as any fan wishing to attend the match will receive $1 admission. The promotion is to offer a discount to the fans that help create one of the best game-day atmospheres in college volleyball.
