COLUMBIA, Mo. - Fresh off of one of the biggest wins in college volleyball this season, the Mizzou volleyball team moved to No. 4 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Top-25 Poll, as announced by the AVCA on Monday (Nov. 18). At 31-0 and 15-0 in the SEC, Mizzou remains as one of just two unbeaten teams in the nation and lead the country in wins and boast the nation's longest winning streak.

Mizzou defeated then fifth-ranked Florida, 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-23), last Friday, marking Mizzou's first-ever road win over a top-five team and its second over the Gators this season. It was just the sixth home loss for Florida in SEC play since 1991 and was the first time a team has ever swept the Gators at home under current head coach Mary Wise, who has been at Florida since 1991. It was the first top-10 regular season match between two SEC teams since 1991. The Tigers, ranked seventh last week, passed the Gators, USC and Stanford in this week's poll.

The Tigers are also just one win shy of clinching the school's first-ever SEC Championship, which would automatically qualify Mizzou for the NCAA Tournament. They host Mississippi State (11-17, 2-12 SEC) at the Hearnes Center Friday at 6:30 p.m.
