Friday's matchup will be the first meeting between a pair of top-10 SEC volleyball teams since Nov. 24, 1991, and is the first ever top-10 SEC match hosted in Florida's O'Connell Center as well. It pits No. 7 Mizzou (29-0, 13-0 SEC) against Florida (22-2, 11-1 SEC) in a match that will have huge SEC title implications. Mizzou defeated then second-ranked Florida, 3-1 (25-23, 25-23, 23-25, 25-18), on Oct. 20 this season for its first-ever win over a top-five opponent. Mizzou has never defeated a top-five team on the road and Florida has lost just five home SEC matches since 1991.
