COLUMBIA, Mo. - Come help the Mizzou volleyball team "Storm the Cyclones" next Wednesday, November 14, at 6:30 p.m., at the Hearnes Center as they take on Iowa State in another important Big 12 contest. The Tigers (14-10, 7-8 Big 12) are currently battling for its eighth-straight NCAA tournament appearance and are asking for everyone's support during the upcoming televised match. Admission is only $1 and with the home finale coming over Thanksgiving weekend, this will be many fans' last chance at seeing the Tigers in action this year.
All fans are encouraged to arrive early, pack the stands, and wear gold. Mizzou volleyball has been honored in having a top-10 nationally ranked attendance core in the past three seasons and would like to see the tradition continue.
It is the perfect opportunity to come out with your friends and family and enjoy one of the last Mizzou matches of the season. As always, all fans are welcome to stay after the match to get their favorite players' autographs.
Of course, all is encouraged to attend the match, but for those unable to attend, the action will be broadcasted live on Fox Sports Midwest, Metro Sports in Kansas City and KZOU-TV in Columbia.
Before facing Iowa State next week, the Tigers will travel Saturday to take on Texas Tech in Lubbock. Mizzou has only five matches remaining, three of those are road contests, in closing the 2007 Big 12 season that will conclude November 24.
