COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri Athletic Department has announced that Wednesday's Mizzou-Nebraska volleyball match has been cleared to air on Mediacom Channel 22 in the Columbia, Mo., and Springfield, Mo., markets, as announced this afternoon (Oct. 5). The Metro Sports broadcast was originally slated to appear only in the Kansas City area, but now will be seen throughout Mid-Missouri on Mediacom channel 22. The match is slated for a 6:30 p.m. start. Beau Baehman and Lindsey Hunter will have the call from the Hearnes Center.

Metro Sports will still plan on showing the match in the Kansas City area. The match can also be seen on Mizzou All-Access, which can be found at

Wednesday's match with No. 3 Nebraska will be the Tigers' third home match in Big 12 play against an AVCA Top-12 team. It is also the sixth annual "Can the Huskers" promotion, benefiting the Central Missouri Food Bank. Any fan who donates two canned food items will receive free admission to the match. Mizzou has hopes of surpassing last year's total of 1,600 pounds of food.
