COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Mizzou volleyball program was again recognized for its outstanding work along the recruiting trail as two of its 2012 signees were recognized by PrepVolleyball.com as some of the top high school players in the country on Friday (Feb. 8). Carly Kan (Honolulu, Haw.) was named to the PrepVolleyball.com High School All-American list while Loxley Keala (Honolulu, Haw.) earned a spot on the highest honorable mention All-America team. PrepVolleyball.com is the second publication to recognize Kan, who was named a first team All-American by Volleyball Magazine last month.

Kan was one of 13 high school players nationally to land on the All-America first team and was the Hawaii State Tournament MVP after leading Punahoa to an 18-1 overall record and a Hawaii Division I Girls State Volleyball Title in 2012. Her high school team was named the No. 9 team in the country following its State Championship by MaxPreps.

Keala was a two-time All-State selection (2010, 2011) and was `Iolani High School's team captain from 2010-12. She also Gguided her team to a third-place finish at the State Championships in 2011 and was an IHL All-League selection three times in her career (2009-2011).
