Volleyball Magazine All-Americans

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Incoming Mizzou volleyball freshman Carly Kan (Honolulu, Haw.) was named to the Mizuno/Volleyball Magazine High School All-America first team after an outstanding senior season at Punahou High School in Honolulu. Kan, an outside hitter for her team, which claimed the Hawaii State Championship, was the Interscholastic League of Honolulu Player of the Year. Kan is projected to play as a defensive specialist with the Tigers next season.

Kan was one of 13 high school players nationally to land on the All-America first team and was the Hawaii State Tournament MVP after leading Punahoa to an 18-1 overall record and a Hawaii Division I Girls State Volleyball Title in 2012. Her high school team was named the No. 9 team in the country following its State Championship by MaxPreps.
