Shawn Davis, a 2007 graduate of Missouri, is entering his sixth year working with the Mizzou athletic media relations and his seventh year overall. His primary responsibilities include handling the media relations efforts for the baseball and volleyball programs. Davis was the AVCA Southeast Region SID of the Year in 2013

He is a graduate of the University of Missouri with a degree in agricultural journalism. Upon his graduation in December of 2007, he was promoted from student assistant to intern status within the media relations office, serving as the primary media contact for the cross country and gymnastics teams at Mizzou during the 2007-08 season. Davis left Columbia for a one-year internship at Michigan State for the 2008-09 athletic season, serving as the primary contact for women's volleyball, track and field, Big Ten Champion women's rowing and women's tennis.
