Tom Lewis is covering the Missouri volleyball team for the second-consecutive year as media relations contact. Lewis, now in his sixth year as a Media Relations Assistant, will also enter his fourth year as media relations contact for the Missouri Track & Field teams in the winter.
For the Tiger volleyball team, Lewis is the team's liaison to the media and writes, edits, and designs the team's media and recruiting guide. Lewis also maintains the team's performance lists and statistics, historical data, and their web page on mutigers.com. Lewis also works home matches as media liaison and statistics coordinator.
Lewis is a graduate of Hardin-Central High School in Hardin, Mo. In 2002 and 2003, Lewis worked as an on-air weathercaster at KOMU-TV 8, Columbia's local NBC affiliate. Lewis is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), the Track and Field Writers of America, and USA Track and Field. Lewis is serving his second year on CoSIDA's Olympic Liaison Committee.
