Mike Jackson enters his second year with Mizzou as Director of Volleyball Operations. Jackson is in charge of the team's travel and financial operations. In addition, Jackson is responsible for organizing camps and youth clinics.

Since 1999, Jackson has been the head coach for the University of Missouri women's club volleyball team. In 2005, Jackson was named National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) Coach of the Year as his squad was ranked No. 1 in the country prior to their post-season tournament. The Mizzou women's club team has participated in six-straight national tournaments, finishing runner up in 2003 and 2004.

From 2003 to 2005, Jackson also coached NIRSA's All-Star Team, tabbed as "Club USA". He has led his teams to the title at the St. Thomas, Virgin Island international tournament in 2003 and 2005. His team finished fifth at the Las Vegas Open in 2005.

Jackson also played for the University of Missouri men's volleyball club team as a right-side hitter from 1989 to 1993. In his time with the club, they were regional champions and placed fifth at the national USA Volleyball tournament. In 2006, the Missouri men's squad won the national championship held in Salt Lake City.

Jackson, a native of Kansas City, Mo., earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Columbia College in 1994.
