BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Mizzou tennis sophomore Kelli Hine was named to the 2014 Southeastern Conference Women's Tennis Community Service Team, the SEC office announced on Monday (April 14).

A native of New Braunfels, Texas, Hine has been an active participant in the Columbia community. In December, Hine put together Christmas presents and a dinner for a family in need through a local church She also spent lunches on Mondays at Creek Side Elementary as part of the Rally Club Program, participated in Caleb's Pitch, taught a physical education class at Good Shepherd Lutheran School, took part in the Rally Club "Take a Kid" to a football game, read at Mill Creek Elementary and volunteered at the School of Health Professions service day.

The SEC sponsors Community Service Teams for all league sponsored sports. The Community Service team looks to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to her community in superior service efforts.

Joining Hine on the team were Emily Zabor (Alabama), Shannon Hudson (Arkansas), Jen Pfeifler (Auburn), Brianna Morgan (Florida), Kate Fuller (Georgia), Grace Trimble (Kentucky), Mary Jeremiah (LSU), Caroline Rohde-Moe (Ole Miss), Rosie Dion (Mississippi State), Joanna Henderson (Tennessee) and Courtney Colton (Vanderbilt).
