STILLWATER, Okla. - No. 41 Oklahoma State earned a 6-1 win over the No. 71 Missouri tennis team Friday afternoon in Stillwater, Okla. The loss dropped Mizzou's record to 5-7 overall and 0-3 in Big 12 Conference action, while the Cowgirls improved to 9-3 and 3-1.

At No. 1 doubles, seniors Nina Pantic and Jamie Mera earned an 8-6 victory over Kanyapat Narattana and Malika Rose but the Cowgirls earned the doubles point with wins at No. 2 and 3. The team of Meghan Blevins and Mary Jeremiah defeated junior Annemijn Koenen and sophomore Rachel Stuhlmann, 8-3, and Isabela Miro and C.C. Sardinha claimed an 8-5 win over freshmen Alex Clark and Ashleigh Chiaf.

In singles action, Clark earned her second conference singles win as she claimed a 6-2, 7-5, victory over Jeremiah at No. 5 singles.

Mera gave Narattana all she could handle at No. 4 singles but ultimately fell 6-4, 0-6, 7-5. The Cowgirls also earned singles wins at No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 and No. 6 action. At No. 1, Sardinha earned a 6-1, 6-2 win over Pantic, Rose posted a 6-3, 7-6 (7-5) victory over Stuhlmann at No. 2, Blevins prevailed over junior Maria Christensen at No. 3, 6-3, 6-3, and at No. 6, Miro defeated Koenen, 6-4, 6-4.

The Tigers next hit the court on Sunday, March 25 when the team travels to Norman, Okla., for a Noon contest against Oklahoma.
