Columbia, Mo. - The College Swimming Coaches Association of America has released their Division I and Division II Polls tat rank NCAA swimming and diving teams by their success at this point in the season. Mizzou's women's swimming and diving team was ranked 15th in the polls by coaches votes due to a strong team effort leading up to this point in the season.

One of the key contributing factors to coaches poll rankings is NCAA event rankings.

The women's 200 free relay is ranked 8th with a time of 1:33.59 while the 400 free relay event is ranked 11th with a time of 3:25.05. The women's 200 medley relay is ranked 10th with a time of 1:42.06 and 400 medley relay's time of 3:48.31 is ranked 18th.

In individual events, Shara Staffordis ranked 2nd in the 200 free event with a time of 1:46.85 and is also ranked 2nd in the 200 IM with a time of 1:59.11 (also a new Mizzou record). Stafford is ranked 6th in the 100 free event with a time of 49.46 and also ranks 6th in the 100 fly even with a time of 54.21.

Dominque Bouchard's time of 1:58.53 in the 200 back event is ranked 6th and Cassie Cunningham is ranked 19th in the 50 free event with a 23.32.
