Tigers Set for NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships

INDIANAPOLIS - The Mizzou women's swimming and diving team will begin action at the 2012 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships Thursday, March 21 at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis. The competition, hosted by IUPUI and the Indiana Sports Commission, will run Thursday though Saturday.

Preliminary action starts at 11 a.m. ET every day, while finals sessions begin at 7 p.m. ET. Friday and Saturday's finals sessions will be streamed live on ESPN3.com.

Live stats will be available on NCAA.com.

Missouri has nine athletes at the championships, four individual swimming qualifiers, one diving qualifier and four relay alternates.

In the pool, senior seniors Dominique Bouchard and Cassie Cunningham, sophomore Danielle Barbiea and freshman Anna Patterson all earned individual invites, while seniors Amanda Masters and Brigette Selbert, sophomore Emily Doucette and freshman Lauren Stoeckle head to the Championships to compete on Tiger relay teams. Redshirt sophomore Loren Figueroa qualified in the diving well.
