Mizzou in Seventh After Day Three of SEC Championships

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Mizzou women's swimming and diving team sits in seventh place after three days of competition at the 2013 SEC Swimming and Diving Championships in College Station, Texas. The Tigers have 297 points so far in the meet.

Mizzou's first A finalist of the Championships, sophomore Danielle Barbiea finished eighth in the 100 fly in a time of 52.93. The time was 0.06 faster than Barbiea swam in the morning preliminary competition.

In the 400 IM, freshman Danielle Spradlin competed in the C final and earned an eighth-place finish with a time of 4:23.33.

The day four competition at the SEC Championships will resume on Friday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. for preliminaries and 6 p.m. for the finals session.
