Figueroa Wins 1-Meter at Tennessee Diving Invitational

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Mizzou diver Loren Figueroa won the 1-meter dive to highlight day two action Friday at the Tennessee Diving Invitational at the Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center in Knoxville, Tenn. Figueroa remains undefeated in the event so far this season.

Figueroa scored 301.25 points in the finals session to claim her sixth win in six tries in the event so far this year. She was the top preliminary qualifier with a score of 309.40 in the morning session.

Senior Sharon Finn also qualified for finals and earned a ninth-place finish with a score of 260.10, bettering her prelims score of 257.70.

Also competing for the Tigers were freshman Lauren Reedy (241.00) and sophomores Lauren Callin (237.20) and Alex Skinner (219.35).

Mizzou concludes competition at the Tennessee Diving Invite on Saturday, Jan. 5 at 9:30 a.m.
