2009-10 (FRESHMAN) - Earned her first two season victories over Iowa State in the 100 breast (1:04.19) and 200 breast (2:20.86)... Also placed seventh at Big 12 Championships in the 200 breast finals (2:16.82)... her preliminary score in that event (2:16.31) moved her into a tie for fifth all-time at Missouri... Part of the 200 medley relay at Championships that shattered the previous all-time best at Missouri (1:39.87)...
HIGH SCHOOL - Swam for coach Tom Timpone... was a 3-time All-American swimmer, as well as earning state champion three years... set every record but 500 free for her high school team... was an Olympic trials qualifier.
PERSONAL - Rachel Ripley is the daughter of Melissa Belote Ripley and Rich Ripley... majoring in textile and apparel management... mother was a 3-time Olympic Gold medalist in 1972... chose Missouri over Ohio State and Arkansas, among others.
