HIGH SCHOOL - Swam under coach John Hamilton... qualified for All-State all four years in high school... letter winner in swimming 2007-10... won the "I Can" Award in 2009... was a Spring Junior National Qualifier.
PERSONAL - Nathalia Mello is the daughter of Magda and Cesar Mello... majoring in Computer Science and Marketing... father is a Missouri alum and was an assistant coach for Swimming and Diving at Missouri... enjoys watching movies, crafts and puzzles outside of swimming... chose Mizzou over the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Why did you choose Missouri?
I wanted to stay close to my family, while at the same time joining a new family.
How has the program at Mizzou made you a better swimmer?
It has taught me how to be a true teammate, and that causes you to race and work hard for more than just yourself.
What is your best memory with the team?
So far, my best memory with the team has been traveling to meets together. Those are the times you really get to know people and bond.
