COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri softball team will wrap up their fall schedule with one last doubleheader this Friday, beginning at 3:30 p.m. CT at University Field. The Tigers will take on Jefferson County Community College at 3:30, and immediately follow that game with a contest against Lindenwood.

Missouri pushed their fall record to 6-0 last Friday with a sweep against St. Louis Community College and Iowa Central Community College, shutting out STL-CC by a 7-0 score before toppling Iowa Central, 11-2. In game one, senior pitcher Kristin Nottelmann was nearly unhittable in the circle, allowing just one base hit in a 15 strikeout performance. It was her second 15 strikeout game of the fall and third double-digit strikeout game overall. Junior Nicole Hudson led the offense with a triple and three RBIs, while she, Jenna Marston and Corrin Genovese had two hits apiece.

In game two, Hudson powered the offense again, going 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs. Mackenzie Sykes added her first home run of the fall, while Marston and Ashley Fleming each collected two hits. In her first live action of the fall, Thomas struck out seven batters in four innings, while Bailey Erwin struck out four and allowed just one hit in three innings of relief.
