COLUMBIA, Mo. – The United States Women’s National Team has wrapped up play at the 2011 Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship in Surrey, B.C., as they posted a second place finish in the tournament. Chelsea Thomas and Rhea Taylor each enjoyed successful tournaments, as they turned in numerous solid performances over the nine day event.

Appearing in six games and starting twice, Thomas finished with a 3-1 record, registering a 1.57 earned run average while striking out 34 and walking just three in 22.1 innings pitched.
