May 24, 2012
For the third year in a row, the Missouri softball team will serve as host to one of eight NCAA Super Regionals. The Tigers of Missouri welcome the Tigers of LSU - the winners of the College Station Regional - for a best-of-three series this weekend, with the victor advancing to the 2012 Women's College World Series. The number one source for all softball game day information is located at the NCAA Super Regional Central page.
SATURDAY'S FAMILY FAN FEST - 4:30-6:30 p.m.
- Located in the softball parking lot north of University Field
- Will feature face painting, inflatable games, balloon artist, and more
- Free snacks and drinks
All three scheduled games will be televised on ESPNU, and we want to make sure the bleachers are lined with Missouri Tiger gold. The more gold in the stands, the more impressive University Field looks on television - show the country that Missouri softball offers one of the best game day experiences out there!
PACK THE HOUSE
At last year's Super Regionals, nearly 2,600 fans were in attendance for each of the two games against Washington, setting new University Field attendance records. We want to blow that number out of the water this season and pack even more fans into University Field. Can you help us top 3,000 fans - or more - each game? Make sure you arrive early and get to your seat and help us Pack the House!
GET YOUR TICKETS
Tickets are available at the Mizzou Arena Ticket Office, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Orders can also be placed through 1-800-CAT-PAWS or online through Ticketmaster. Gates open 90 minutes prior to first pitch each day. For prices, check out the NCAA Super Regional Central page.
Accessible parking is available for fans with a temporary or permanent accessible placard or license plate in the lots adjacent to University Field (Labeled Lot U on the parking map). Accessible parking can only be accessed off of Stadium Boulevard and Carrie Francke Drive due to Carrie Francke Drive being closed between the softball stadium and the Research Park Drive intersection.
GENERAL PUBLIC PARKING
General public parking is available at no charge in the parking lots to the East of University Field. Please access all general public parking off of Providence Road as Carrie Francke Drive is closed between the softball stadium and the Research Park Drive intersection. Complimentary shuttles will be available to transport guests from the parking lots to the entrances. More information on parking, including a parking map, can be found at the Super Regional Central page.
