2002: Named All-American Scholar Athlete by the National Fast Pitch Softball Coaches Association...named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team...named Verizon Academic All-District... pitched a perfect game, the sixth in MU history, on Feb. 17 against Rhode Island...started 31 games for Mizzou and appeared in 40 contests... finished the year with a 10-14 record and a 2.40 ERA...pitched a complete game shutout against Saint Louis on April 23, allowing only three hits and striking out three...recorded four strike outs in back-to-back games against Illinois-Chicago (2/16) and Rhode Island (2/17)...ranks eighth in career appearances at MU (98), 10th in innings pitched (420.2) and eighth in strikeouts (222).
2001: Named All-American Scholar Athlete by the National Fast Pitch Softball Coaches Association for the second straight season...garnered Academic All-Big 12 first team honors... registered a 3.68 ERA in 26 appearances...struck out 73 batters in 112.1 innings of work...went the distance in eight games...struck out five or more batters in seven of her appearances...gave up six hits and only one earned run in a ten inning marathon on Feb. 17 against Western Illinois.
2000: NFCA Academic All-American... earned a 1.53 ERA in her first season...an impressive Metrodome Tournament performance earned her Big 12 Pitcher of the Week honors on Feb. 22...was team Rookie of the Year...pitched 12 complete games in 32 appearances.
At Mission San Jose High School: Played for Mission San Jose High School...coached by Roger Baysden...had a 0.64 ERA...averaged 7.11 strikeouts per game...led the team with a .317 batting average...in 1999 named Most Valuable Player, and first-team All-League...received the 1998 NCS Sportsmanship Award...named Most Inspirational Player in 1999, 1997 and 1996...NCS Scholar Athlete in 1998 and 1999...1999 Mission San Jose High School Scholar Athlete of the Year...received Golden State Exam Honors in chemistry, biology, english, history, government and economics...also lettered two years in volleyball and basketball.
Summer: Played for the Lightning coached by Phil Mumma and Delmar Himango...team won ASA Western Nationals in 1998, going undefeated in the tournament...named the tournament’s Most Valuable Pitcher.
