2008: As a sophomore, Katie Milles made 25 starts in Missouri's lineup managing her first multiple hit game of the campaign March 1 against South Dakota State. Milles finished the outing 2-for-3 at the plate, with a two out double in the fourth and sixth inning single through the left side. One of only three Tiger players to record a hit in Missouri's May 18, NCAA Regional finals game in Iowa City, Iowa, Milles connected for a single in the bottom of the fourth frame. Milles was Missouri's catcher in 25 games and notched a .995 fielding percentage that included 163 putouts, 22 assists and only one error. In Missouri's opening game of the NCAA Super Regional Tournament in Tuscaloosa, Ala., May 23, Milles threw out the nation's stolen base leader, Brittany Rogers, on her throw to shortstop Abby Vock. In 66 attempts, Rogers was only thrown out six times on the season, including Milles' throw to second.

2007: Milles made her first career start in a Tiger uniform, Feb. 9 against Middle Tennessee State. Taking on the Kangaroos of UMKC (Feb. 14) and the Bilikens of St. Louis (Feb. 21), Milles was credited with two RBI in each game. Milles' first two RBI game, against UMKC, was recorded on her two out single to center field. Milles connected for one double on the year, a hit to right center in Missouri's game against St. Louis. In her first season on the field with Missouri, Milles' saw time at both first and third base.

2006: Milles redshirted her first season at Missouri.

Cor Jesu Academy: In her junior (2004) and senior years (2005) under Head Coach Olivia Reicherdt, Milles was named MVP and served as team captain of the Cor Jesu Academy Chargers. Milles was honored with three letters and was on the honor roll every year.

Personal: The daughter of Mark and Jeanne Milles, Katie Milles was born March 23, 1987, in St. Louis, Mo. Katie has two brothers, Jeff (23) and Scott (17) and a sister Laura (14). Milles is majoring in biology and plans to attend UMKC's dental school after graduation.
