2003: Making a start in 33 of 36 games she appeared in, Morgan LeCluyse had the second highest team batting average at .341 with 91 at bats. LeCluyse missed 15 games due to injury. Moving from second base to outfield, LeCluyse scored four homeruns on the season, and was third on the team in RBI (19). Competing against Auburn in the championship game of the Auburn Invitational on Feb. 7, LeCluyse scored a home run helping the Tigers to one run in their 3-2 loss. Totaling 11 homeruns in her career, LeCluyse stands seventh on the all-time Missouri homeruns chart. LeCluyse took one hit in each of the two games against Big 12 competitor Oklahoma, including her fourth homerun of the season in game two on March 26. Third on the steals list with nine on 13 attempts, LeCluyse had a 15-game hitting streak during which she hit .413, with a slugging percentage of .739.
2002: Missouri's starting centerfielder, LeCluyse led the lineup in every game for the Tigers during the 2002 season. Leading the team in runs scored, 35 and tied for the most homeruns (seven) and doubles (10) on the team, LeCluyse was second in RBI (47), walks (18) and total bases (82), and third in hits (49) and stolen bases (eight) recording two or more hits in 12 contests throughout the campaign. With at least one RBI in 15 of Missouri's games, LeCluyse went 2-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored against Illinois-Chicago on Feb. 16, later going 5-for-7 in the Tigers' doubleheader with Saint Louis on April 23. Also against Saint Louis, LeCluyse had three RBI, four runs scored and a homerun. Competing against her former team Iowa State on March 16, LeCluyse provided a grand slam giving Mizzou the 6-4 victory. LeCluyse was 4-for-5 in two games against Southeast Missouri State on April 3, with five RBI, two runs scored, two doubles and a stolen base.
2001 (Iowa State): LeCluyse saw action around the infieled in 30 games for the Iowa State Cyclones. Recording 12 hits and eight runs, LeCluyse drove in three RBI while registering three walks.
After transfering to Missouri, LeCluyse started 11 of the Tigers' 12, Fall 2001 games at second base, registering five hits, two RBI and six total bases. LecCluyse went 4-for-4 in the stolen base department and recorded a .455 on-base percentage.
Between her time at Iowa State and Missouri, LeCluyse spent the summer of 2001 playing for the Kansas City Invasion and the Kansas City Peppers ball club under Head Coach Dan Eakin, finishing second in the nation at ASA Nationals in 2001.
Shawnee Mission Northwest High School: Led by head coach Cindy Roach, LeCluyse helped Shawnee Mission Northwest to the 1997 and 2000 Kansas State Tournament championship, earning All-State honors her senior year (2000). While playing for the Cougars, LeCluyse was named a first-team All-Metro selection her junior (1999) and senior (2000) year, and was a three-time, first-team All-Sunflower selection and three-year, first-team All-Shawnee/Lenexa selection. LeCluyse earned first-team All-Johnson County honors her junior and senior seasons and was named second-team All-Metro and second-team All-Johnson County her sophomore year (1998). Leading the Cougars in seven offensive categories her junior year (1999), LeCluyse batted .349 as a senior, with 18 RBI, one home run and seven stolen bases. The four-time letterwinner was also a member of the volleyball, basketball and drill team.
Personal: Born April 16, 1982, in Shawnee Mission, Kan., to parents John and Kaye LeCluyse, Morgan has two brothers Blake and Blair. LeCluyse is an apparel merchandising major.
