Outlook: A solid contendor for middle infield action, Alli Kennewell (pronounced KEN-uh-well) enters the season as an experienced veteran on the Tiger team.

"Alli has the tools and skills necessary to be a powerful player," Head Coach Ty Singleton said. "She has great soft fielding hands and commanding strength at the plate. When she puts it all together she can be a true threat to any opponent."

2004: The only Tiger to record two three RBI games, Kennewell tallied the second most RBI on the team with 21. In her 46 game starts and 137 plate appearances, Kennewell scored 16 runs and tallied 27 hits. Kennewell helped Missouri to two wins on the season with game-winning home runs against No. 20 Baylor on April 17 and No. 13 Nebraska on May 9. Kennewell tripled against Portland State March 23, helping Missouri to an 8-0 shutout of the Vikings. Kennewell's fifth and final two-hit game of the year came in Missouri's second game against Texas Tech on May 2. Competing in Missouri's exciting 13-inning game against Oklahoma in the semifinals of the Big 12 Championships May 15, Kennewell had a single to left field for one of five Missouri hits on the game. Kennewell's final contribution to the team came May 21, against Mississippi Valley State in Missouri's second and final game of the NCAA Regional tournament in Los Angeles. In her third at-bat of the game, Kennewell blasted a double, driving in two RBI with her hit to right center. In 48 games at second base, Kennewell racked up 86 putouts, including three games with seven putouts, two of which were back-to-back (2/6 UTC, 2/7 Florida and 3/2, Oklahoma City). With a good hitting eye, Kennewell walked 16 times, the most of any member of the Tiger team.
