Former Tiger standouts look to repeat as members of the USA Softball Women's National Team

Finished her Mizzou career as one of the best sluggers in school history, hitting 16 home runs in her final Tiger campaign to finish with 46, just one long ball shy of the school record of 47 held by Jen Bruck.
Her .692 slugging percentage for the season ranked 11th in school history, with her season home run total ranking tied for third all-time at Mizzou.
The slugging mark also ranked 10th in the Southeastern Conference in 2013, while her on-base percentage (.467) ranked ninth.
Added 44 walks, the second-best season total in Mizzou history, to her school-record amount of 143.
Cemented her place in the Tiger record book with her senior season, ranking in the all-time top 10 in career hits (208), doubles (48), home runs (46), at-bats (654), runs scored (151), RBI (173), slugging percentage (.602) and walks (143).
Career slugging mark of .602 ranked fifth in Mizzou's all-time career records.
Started her senior season with home runs in her first two at-bats of the year, launching two long balls in the five-inning, 11-3 win at UCSB (Feb. 15).
Went 7-for-12 at the plate during the first week of the season in California (five home runs, 11 RBI), earning her SEC Player of the Week recognition (Feb. 18).
Was on again in the first game of the Cal-State Fullerton doubleheader (Feb. 23), batting 3-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored.
Hit her first SEC home run at Ole Miss (March 15), launching a moon shot completely out of the Ole Miss Softball Complex in the five-inning, 11-0 win.
Batted 2-for-2 with two RBI, two runs scored and also pitched the final 3.0 innings of the contest to earn the win, improving to 5-0.
Entered a four-game stretch of earning two walks per game, starting with the March 23 doubleheader vs. Georgia Tech and the first two games of the South Carolina series (March 29-30).
Opened the LSU series with a 3-for-5 night at No. 11 LSU's Tiger Park, hitting a double and scoring one run in the 6-1 win (April 19).
Helped Mizzou clinch the LSU series by knocking in all three RBI in the 3-2 win on April 21, hitting a two-run bomb in the third before a solo home run in the fifth.
Homered the Tigers to another SEC road win in extra innings at No. 19 Kentucky (April 26), first hitting an RBI-single to tie the game at 1-1 in the seventh inning before launching a game-winning solo shot in the ninth.
Had a career day on Mizzou's Senior Day, batting 2-for-3 with two home runs for six RBI, a career-best, including the second grand slam of her Tiger career.
Continued hot-hitting into the postseason, smacking a season-best two doubles on 2-for-4 hitting with two RBI against Florida in the SEC Tournament Championship Game (May 11).
Helped power the Tigers into their sixth-straight NCAA Super Regional with a top-notch Regional final outing in the 5-0 win over Hofstra (May 19), batting 2-for-3 with a double and home run with two RBI and two runs scored.
Pitched to an 11-6 record as Mizzou's No. 2 starter in the circle (90.0 IP), recording an equal amount of strikeouts and walks (32).
Pitched two complete-game shutouts, first in the second game of the Cal-State Fullerton doubleheader (Feb .23), a 7-0 win, allowing two hits and recording four strikeouts.
Shut down Stony Brook in NCAA Regional action for her second complete-game shutout, striking out one batter and allowing two hits.
Honors: All-Southeast Region Second Team, SEC Player of the Week (Feb. 18)
Finished second on the team in batting average, hitting at a .301 clip in 2012.
Was also second on the team in doubles (11), home runs (7), slugging percentage (.497) and walks (35).
Her 35 walks put her in a tie for fourth-most base on balls in a single season at Missouri.
Started the year primarily as the left fielder but worked her way back to the infield, regaining the starting spot at third base, where she played her first two years.
On Feb. 26 against UCLA, she helped the Tigers to a 7-5 victory with three RBI, all coming in the first two innings.
The following weekend, she went 2-for-3 with a double and a season-high four runs batted in against SLU.
Matched her season-high RBI total again at the end of March, hitting a game winning grand slam against Baylor in the sixth inning for her fourth home run of the year and second in as many days.
Hit homers in consecutive days again in mid-April, connecting on a game-tying blast against Texas Tech on April 14 and homering a few days later against Western Illinois, a game she finished with two hits and three driven in.
Had a couple of multi-hit games at Iowa State, going 2-for-2 with a homer and three RBI in game one of the series and picking up a pair of hits in the series finale. In the Super Regional against LSU, she went 1-for-3 with a double and a run in game one and 2-for-4 with a double in the team's victory in game two.

Saw her role expand outside of starting at third base, as she provided Mizzou with additional depth in left field and in the circle.
Of her 62 starts, 50 came at third, while she provided seven starts in the outfield and appeared seven times at pitcher.
After a strong freshman campaign in 2010, she improved in 2011 with a .337 batting average, the second-most home runs on the team (13), and 51 runs batted in. She also doubled 14 times and posted an impressive walk-to-strikeout ratio of 33-18, while stealing eight bases in as many attempts.
In her first official at bat of the season, she hit a solo home run to left-center against San Diego State.
In a two-game stretch against Baylor and Evansville, she went 3-for-6 with four runs, three home runs and seven RBI.
Posted an eight-game hitting streak in mid-April, where she went 14-for-30 (.467) with two home runs, three doubles and eight RBI with six runs scored, earning her first career Big 12 Player of the Week honors in the process.
One game after her hitting streak was snapped, she hit safely in the team's next six contests, posting a batting average of .619 (13-of-21) with four doubles, a homer and seven runs batted in - good for another Player of the Week award.
During that streak, she helped the Tigers salvage a split with Texas which eventually led to a Big 12 title, going 3-for-4 with a homer, a double and four RBI in the finale with the Horns.
Hit safely in four of the team's five NCAA Regional contests, blasting a homer against Illinois State to open the tournament while driving in five runs on the weekend.
Helped Mizzou jump out to a lead in game one with Washington at the NCAA Super Regionals, homering in the first game and driving in another in the finale.
Went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Missouri's 4-1 win over Oklahoma at the World Series.
Finished the year in the top-10 of the Big 12 for runs scored (10th, 49), doubles (T-7th, 14), runs batted in (9th, 51) and total bases (5th, 115).
In the circle, went 1-1 with a 3.62 ERA.
Honors: First Team All-Midwest Region, First Team All-Big 12, First Team Academic All-Big 12, Two-time Big 12 Player of the Week (April 19 and May 10)
Started 63 of the team's 64 games, with 62 of those coming at third base.
Led all Tigers with 10 home runs this season, and was the first true freshman since Jen Bruck in 2005 to post double figures in home runs.
Her 10 homers tie her for 10th most in a single season, while she tied for the fourth-most doubles in a season with 15 and had the sixth most walks ever, tallying 31.
In her first collegiate game, she hit a game winning home run in the top of the seventh against No. 2 Alabama for her first career hit, run, home run and RBI, lifting the Tigers to a 2-1 win.
Had a season-best three hits against Saint Louis on March 31.
On April 14 against Southern Illinois, she drove in a season-high four runs.
In Mizzou's 11-6 win over top-seeded Texas at the Big 12 Championship, she picked up a pair of hits, including a home run, while driving in two.
Doubled in a run against Hawaii in the opening game of the 2010 Women's College World Series.
Finished eighth in the Big 12 in walks and tied for sixth in the league in doubles.
Honors: Second Team All-Big 12.
A member of the Webb City High softball team, which was ranked first in the state her junior year, and third her freshman and senior years.
Was named an all-state selection for all four of her seasons as a pitcher for Cardinals.
In addition to high school softball, she played for several club teams across the state of Missouri and played high school basketball.
Her senior year, she was selected as all-state for basketball and graduated with a total of eight varsity letters.
