2012 (Sophomore): The primary pinch runner off the bench for the Tigers, Corwin appeared in 40 games and earned four starts in 2012. She scored nine runs on the season and stole four bases in five attempts. Her first start of the year came against UMKC, where she scored a run, took a walk, was hit by a pitch and stole a base. She picked up her first career hit on March 28 in game one of a doubleheader with Evansville. Starting at second base, Corwin went 1-for-2, tying the game in the second inning with an RBI single to left field. Corwin came off the bench against Iowa State on April 28 and went 2-for-2 at the plate with a run scored in Mizzou's 8-0 win. Honors: First Team Academic All-Big 12

2011 (Freshman): Serving as the team's primary pinch runner, Corwin appeared in 34 games and scored 12 runs on the season. Her first career appearance came against Illinois State at the South Florida Tournament, pinch running in the top of the fifth inning of a 3-1 game. She would come in to score her first collegiate run on an RBI double, capping off a four-run inning for the Tigers. She would finish the year with three stolen bases in four attempts, with her first coming against Illinois State at the DeMarini Invitational in Columbia. She scored runs in three straight postseason games for Missouri during the NCAA Regionals.

Platte County: Played four years at catcher under head coach Rob Davenport for the Platte County Pirates, where she helped lead her team to a state championship during her junior year. Corwin was a three-time All-State catcher and a two-time Academic All-State selection. She was also selected to the Principal's Honor Roll all four year's of high school, and graduated as the top female in her class, with her GPA ranking in at third out of 216 students in her senior class.

Personal: Brianna Corwin was born on Jan. 13, 1992 in Kansas City, Mo. to Michael and Rhonda Corwin. Her father is a major of the Kansas City Police Department, while her mother is a business professor at Grantham University and is finishing a doctorate in business administration. Corwin has one younger brother, Cameron. She is majoring in biology and health science and is planning on attending medical school after graduation.
