COLUMBIA, Mo. - For the second consecutive season, Mizzou soccer senior forward Alyssa Diggs earned a spot on the 2013 Capital One Academic All-District 6 Women's Soccer First Team, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced on Thursday. Diggs becomes only the third Tiger in program history to become a two-time All-District first team honoree, as she also made the team in 2012.

She is now eligible for the Capital One Academic All-America® teams, announced in late November.

Over her four-year Tiger career, the Coppell, Texas, native is a two-time all-conference first team selection after earning the honors in 2012 in the SEC and 2011 in the Big 12 Conference. She earned National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-South Region third team and Capital One Academic All-District 6 first team honors as a junior in 2012. She leads all current Tigers with 45 career points on 17 goals and 11 assists.

As a senior in 2013, Diggs has started all 18 games for the Tigers at forward and recorded three goals and three assists for nine points. She tallied Mizzou's game-winning goal in the team's 2-1 win over No. 7 South Carolina on Oct. 18.

Diggs and the Tigers conclude the regular season on Thursday, Oct. 31 with a 7 p.m. game at Arkansas.
