COLUMBIA, Mo. - Senior defender Allison Hu of the No. 15 Mizzou soccer team earned national honors this week when she was one of 10 players named a CollegeSoccer360.com Primetime Performers for play Sept. 10-16.

The St. Charles, Mo., native helped Mizzou earn its first two SEC wins last weekend with road wins at Auburn (2-0) and South Carolina (1-0). She played all 90 minutes of both games and was an integral part of a Mizzou defense that posted its third and fourth shutouts of the season against the Tigers and Gamecocks. Against Auburn on Friday night, Hu saved an Auburn shot off the goal line to preserve the shutout. In Sunday's game against South Carolina, Hu and the rest of the Mizzou defense held the Gamecocks to just one shot in the second half.

Hu has started all eight games and played every minute this season at defender. In her two years as a Tiger after transferring from Saint Louis, Hu has started all 29 of Mizzou's games, played every minute of 26 games, and helped the Tiger defense record 10 shutouts.

Missouri returns to action this weekend for a pair of home conference games. On Friday, Sept. 21, the Tigers play Ole Miss at 7 p.m., followed by a 1 p.m. contest against Vanderbilt on Sunday, Sept. 23.
