COLUMBIA, Mo. - Junior forward Alyssa Diggs was named to two national teams of the week following No. 13 Mizzou soccer's two wins on opening weekend. The Coppell, Texas, native was named as one of CollegeSoccer360.com's Primetime Performers and as College Sports Madness SEC Player of the Week.

Diggs scored three goals in Mizzou's first two games of the 2012 season. In the Tigers' 5-1 upset of No. 11 Memphis on Friday, Aug. 17, she tallied two goals in less than one minute. Two days later, she scored another goal in Missouri's 2-0 defeat of UC Santa Barbara.

The junior currently ranks second in the SEC in total points (six) and goals (three) and has an impressive .500 shot percentage so far.

The Tigers next hit the pitch on Sunday, Aug. 26 in a road match against No. 15 California at 3 p.m. PT (5 p.m. CT) in Berkeley, Calif. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.
