COLUMBIA, Mo. - University of Missouri soccer team is ranked 13th in this week's Soccer America Top 25 Poll following wins against No. 11 Memphis and UC Santa Barbara last weekend. Mizzou is also the highest ranked Southeastern Conference team in the Soccer America poll.

The Tigers are also ranked as the No. 2 team in the South Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and received votes in both the NSCAA and Soccer Times national polls.

Mizzou opened the season with a 5-1 upset of No. 11 Memphis on Friday, Aug. 17. Two days later, the Tigers scored twice in the first 15 minutes to earn a 2-0 win over UC Santa Barbara.

Missouri next travels to Berkeley, Calif., to face No. 15 California on Sunday, Aug. 26 at 3 p.m. PT (5 p.m. CT). The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network.
