Tigers Host Mizzou Tiger Junior Soccer Academy

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The University of Missouri soccer team will host the Mizzou Tiger Junior Soccer Academy this fall. The program, which take place on seven Saturdays from Aug. 27 - Oct. 15, is a chance for children ages 5-9 to learn from Mizzou training staff and players.

The sessions, which will emphasize getting touches on the ball to help improve technical development, will be 6:15-7:15 p.m. for girls and 7:15-8:15 p.m. for boys at Walton Stadium.

Each attendee will receive an Academy t-shirt, special seating at all Tiger home games, plus the chance to get autographs from Mizzou players and visits from Truman every session. Cost of the program is $105, which includes all seven sessions. Teams that sign up at least eight children will receive 10 percent off.

The Academy starts on Monday, Aug. 27 and will run every Monday until Oct. 15, with the exception of Labor Day.
