COLUMBIA, Mo. - Mizzou soccer hosts its annual Girls Camp, open to girls in grades 5-12, Thursday-Sunday, July 11-13, 2013 on University of Missouri campus. Registration is still open but should be done as soon as possible.

"The Mizzou coccer team is excited for a great week of soccer," Head Coach Bryan Blitz said. "We provide an environment that allows the campers to become better players and better teammates. The experience we create hopes to inspire them to reach their full potential while interacting with our Mizzou athletes. We can't wait to see everyone."

Under the tutelage of Mizzou soccer players and staff members, the overnight camp features daily morning and afternoon sessions, including technical demonstrations, individual and group instruction, tactical training, followed by scrimmages and 11 vs. 11 games in the evenings.

"Mizzou Soccer Camp is a blast because coaches and kids all bond with each other on and off the field," former Tiger Haley Krentz said. "Young campers learn fundamental soccer skills and get a real feel for the Mizzou experience. It's time well spent!"

All campers will receive free breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus a camp t-shirt. Teams that register groups of 14 or more get a 15 percent discount.

To register, visit the Mizzou Soccer Camp page. For more information, please call or email Blitz at 573-268-3097 or blitzb@missouri.edu.
