Mizzou Head Coach Bryan Blitz on Melanie
"Melanie's blue collar work ethic and competitive spirit makes a great impression. She is a very skilled and technical player who will fit in well with our playing style."

Club coach Jim Wipke (Lou Fusz Soccer Club) on Melanie
"I'm ecstatic. I think Melanie made a good choice. I like Bryan Blitz and the way that he works and the program he runs. I think Melanie will work incredibly hard for him and for the team."

"She's been our captain and that's something you can't really understate. She brings the heart and soul to our team. Melanie is by far one of the best players I've ever coached. She not only has a lot of soccer ability and soccer savvy, but she is a total team player. The reason she drives is because she cares about her teammates. So, not only is Mizzou getting a good soccer player, but also a great individual."
