So here they are...the 2011 Mizzou Soccer Signing class! We are extremely excited about the amount of talent and enthusiasm this group brings to the family. There are nine in all - from Georgia to Washington, three from Missouri and an international player from Canada.

We will have one-on-one interviews with the new teammates when they arrive on campus next week for their official visits. Until then, read below for some info on this talented class.

A lot of our girls have stayed on the west coast for college so I think this is a great testament to Bryan and the Missouri program to attract a player like Abi." - Hubie Busby, Vancouver Whitecaps FC coach

She has tremendous composure on the ball, she is a pure athlete and she is fast, strong and fearless." - Greg Blasingame, Concorde Fire coach

"The campus was a huge factor, I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Also the team's connection with one another - it seemed as if they were all one big family including the coaches and everyone else involved in the program."

"Everything just felt right at Mizzou. I liked the family type atmosphere amongst the girls and coaches. I also liked that Mizzou takes pride in having all its women's soccer players graduate and I look forward to getting my degree in education. I look forward to being a TIGER!!"

"She has a tremendous work rate. She plays with pace and is very fast - much like (current freshman and former club teammate) Alyssa Diggs. She has won a national championship, she is used to winning big games, and she expects to win. I tell my kids no matter what, Bryan will look after you as a person and not just as a soccer player. I have a tremendous respect for him because of that and I think that's why you are seeing his program grow to what it is today." - Ryan Higganbothan, club coach

"Dan (club head coach) and I consider her one of the best athletes we have ever coached. She is incredibly strong on the ball and very skilled. She is a very strong leader and an absolute joy to coach. At the end of the day, that combination of pure athleticism and being a team player bodes very well for the Mizzou program." --Frank Gallo , Eastside Futbol Club coach

"Some of the most important factors that I had in mind while deciding on Mizzou, was the fact that I would still be able to play my favorite sport on a high competitive level. Though, the sport itself is important, being able to receive a paramount education at the same time was of the utmost importance. The team was very inviting, and the Coach was so kind; I felt so at home!"
