Lincoln, Neb.-- Missouri dropped to Nebraska 4-2 this afternoon in Lincoln, Neb. Alyssa Diggs netted the first goal for Missouri, and Kendra Collins knocked in the second one, both in the first few minutes of play. Missouri now falls to 5-6-2 overall, 3-2-0 in Big 12 play.

The Tigers came out ready to fight. In the third minute of play, Diggs knocked in a ball originally shot by Jessie Crabtree. Crabtree now has two assists on the season. Diggs has tallied two goals so far this season.

Kendra Collins followed up with another goal in the eleventh minute, assisted by Diggs. Collins has three goals on the season.

The Tigers held off the Huskers through the first half, ending it with a 2-0 score. The Huskers came out with a vengeance in the second half, netting their first goal in the 48th minute of play, and earning the equalizer in the 58th minute.

The Tigers head back to Columbia to prepare for another home series. The Tigers host Texas and Texas A&M next weekend at Walton Stadium. Missouri will kick off its annual Play for Pink game against Texas on Friday, Oct. 15 at 6:30 p.m. Missouri's game against Texas A&M will be broadcast on ESPNU live at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 17, and Mizzou soccer will honor its senior members.
