FORT WORTH, Texas - The Missouri women's soccer team earned a 2-0 victory over TCU on Sunday in Fort Worth, Texas, to up the Tigers' winning streak to five games. The win also improved Mizzou's record to 5-1-0 on the year, while the Horned Frogs fell to 2-3-0.

The shutout was the third of the season and second in a row for the Tiger defense, , led by the trio of Missourians in senior Mallory Stipetich and juniors Jessica Greer and Allison Hu.

Freshmen goalkeepers McKenzie Sauerwein and Caroline Stanley combined for Missouri's third shutout of the season.

Missouri's offense was led by sophomore Alyssa Diggs and freshman Taylor Grant, who both found the back of the net in the contest. Diggs got the Tigers on the board in the eighth minute off a breakaway. Grant added an insurance goal in the 66th minute. Freshman Abi Raymer was credited with assists on both Tiger goals.

Mizzou outshot TCU 19-16 in the game, including a 9-4 shot on goal advantage.

The Tigers travel to Tempe, Ariz., next weekend to play in the Sun Devil Classic. Missouri takes on Arizona at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9 and play the host Arizona State at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11.
