Redshirt Sophomore Season (2012): Started all 22 games in goal and played every single minute of her redshirt sophomore campaign ... Posted a 14-7-1 record in net to go along with a 1.07 goals against average and a .795 save percentage ... Her 14 victories stand as the second-best single-season total in program history ... Posted six shutouts on the season ... Ranks third all-time at Mizzou in saves (105), shutouts (12), goals against average (1.18) and games started (41) and fourth in wins (26) and minutes in goal (3742:01) ... Earned shutouts over South Carolina, Auburn, UCSB, Tennessee Tech, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State ... Made a season high nine saves against Kentucky in the SEC Tournament ... Had eight saves in a 2-0 win over Auburn in the SEC opener ... Named to the SEC All-Tournament Team.
Redshirt Freshman Season (2011): Started 20 of 21 games in net for the Tigers ... Recorded a 12-8-1 record and had six shutouts ... Played all 90 minutes in goal 16 games ... Posted a 1.30 goals against average and an .818 save percentage after recording 112 saves on the season ... Many of her season stats rank in Mizzou's single-season record book, including shutouts (second), saves (third), victories (third) and fewest goals allowed (fifth) .... Against Baylor in the Big 12 Tournament, saved a penalty kick and made Mizzou's final attempt to send the Tigers to the semifinals ... Recorded at least 10 saves in three games, including a career high 15 against Kansas ... Posted shutouts over Ohio State, Arizona, Arizona State, UMKC, Texas A&M and SIUE ... Named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 13 after shutout victories over Arizona and Arizona State.

Prep: Sauerwein is a native of North Richland Hills, Texas...she attended Nolan Catholic High School and played soccer for the Dallas Sting '92...earned high school honors for soccer and gold...earned TAPPS All-District and All-State first team honors...played for the North Texas 92 State Team from 2006-2008...participated in Region III camp in 2006-07... team won the North Texas State, USYS Region III, Region III Premier League and Lake Highland Classic League titles.
