MU Defeats UT Martin 1-0

Mizzou Soccer wrapped up home opening weekend with a 1-0 win against UT Martin. Goal scorer junior Reagan Russell (55') and redshirt senior Kenzie Sauerwein, who broke the Mizzou career shutouts record at 18, speak on the Tigers' performance.


MU Defeats SMU 3-1

Mizzou Soccer defeated the SMU Mustangs 3-1 with goals by junior Reagan Russell (8') and freshman Savvy Trujillo (51' and 87'), each of whom earned their first goals on the season. Redshirt senior Kenzie Sauerwein yet again made the record books becoming Mizzou's career wins holder at 36, surpassing Tasha Dittamore. Russell, Trujillo, Sauerwein and head coach Bryan Blitz reflect on the road win and moving forward.


Preseason 2014

Mizzou Soccer's three seniors Taylor Grant, McKenzie Sauerwein and Kaysie Clark let us in on the first week of preseason training for the 2014 and reflect on their senior year.


Sauerwein All-Time Career Minutes In Goal

Redshirt Junior McKenzie Sauerwein has already tallied up the most minutes played in goal in Mizzou Soccer history. With her 45 minutes played in the first half of the LSU game on October 11, Sauerwein jumped from fourth in the standings to the top, sitting at 4976:12.

• Posted a 14-7-1 record in net to go along with a 1.07 goals against average and a .795 save percentage
• Her 14 victories stand as the second-best single-season total in program history
• Posted six shutouts on the season
• Earned shutouts over South Carolina, Auburn, UCSB, Tennessee Tech, Vanderbilt and Mississippi State
• Made a season high nine saves against Kentucky in the SEC Tournament • Had eight saves in a 2-0 win over Auburn in the SEC opener
