Coach Blitz's Outlook: Gaining increasing skill with each season, Kristen Heil is expected to have another breakthrough senior year. Kristen has developed into an extremely well-rounded player. We look for her to bolster our scoring drive serving as one of our primary offensive threats.

Junior (2003): Advancing to the front line, Heil anchored the Tiger scoring drive ... led the team scoring 10 goals and 23 points, including three game-winning goals ... had two multi-goal games scoring two against Colorado and Baylor ... also dished out three assists ... helped Mizzou to its first victory over Nebraska scoring the game-winning goal against the Huskers ... named to the All-Big 12 tournament team ... scored the game-winning goal against Eastern Illinois helping Mizzou record its first NCAA Championship victory ... was the only offensive player to record a team save helping the Tigers defend a cornerkick against #24 Oklahoma ... recorded one game-winning assist helping Kim Hibbert score against #17 California ... made history scoring Missouri's second goal against Eastern Illinois. Her 11-second response is the quickest retaliation in program history and ranks as the eighth-fastest response goal in the NCAA record books ... scored a goal against both Purdue and Arizona helping Missouri win the Nike Tiger Invitational. She earned all-tournament recognition and received Big 12 Player of the Week honors ... named to the academic All-Big 12 first team.

Sophomore (2002): Started all 20 games for the Tigers ... scored first goal of the year putting in the game-winner against Bowling Green ... scored the game-tying goal against Baylor and dished out one assist to help Mizzou to a 4-3 victory over Baylor ... also dished out an assist against Iowa State ... ranked seventh on team in scoring with six points ... also posted a .526 shot on goal percentage taking 10 of her 19 shots to the net ... named to the academic All-Big 12 second team.

Freshman (2001): Played in all 21 games for the Tigers and started eight ... in the first collegiate game of her career, she dished out an assist to boost Missouri to a 3-2 victory over Memphis ... scored three goals on the year, including two against Arkansas-Little Rock ... also contributed assists against Colorado and Baylor to tally nine points ... was honored as Mizzou's Most Improved Player in 2001.

Prep: Came to Mizzou with 91 career assists while playing for Jacobs High School (Ill.) ... the mark ranks her fourth in Illinois state history ... scored 29 goals and 26 assists as a senior to record 89 career goals and 269 career points ... she was a three-year all-conference selection from 1999-01 ... named to the all-sectional team as a junior and senior ... named the Northwest Herald co-Soccer Player of the Year as a sophomore and the Player of the Year as a senior ... also named to the Northwest Herald and Daily Herald all-area team three years running ... participated in the Olympic Development program as a state pool member in 1995 and as a state team member in 2000 ... played for the Chicago Sockers F.C.
