Official visit: An official visit is one that the university pays for, and will include your travel, lodging, meals and entertainment expenses. If your parents accompany you on your official visit, the university is not permitted to pay for their transportation, but we will pay for their lodging, meals, and entertainment. Beginning September 1st of your senior year in high school or the first day of classes (which ever comes first). You are allowed five paid visits with no more than one per institution. Prior to making your official visit, you must provide us with your high school transcript (including grades 9-11), and either a PSAT, SAT or ACT score!

Un-official visit: You and your parents are permitted to have on-campus contact with us anytime during an unofficial visit. An unofficial visit is when you pay your own expenses to visit our campus. There are no restrictions to the amount of unofficial visits you make to the University of Missouri. We encourage you to visit us whenever it is convenient for you and your parents. You will have the opportunity to meet with our entire support staff: Total Person Program (academic support staff), Life After Sport staff, athletic trainers, tour the MU and athletic campus and tour our housing and dining facilities. During pre-season, you may watch a practice or during our competitive season, come to one of our home meets. We are permitted to provide you up to three tickets to any of our regular season home meets!

NLI: NLI stands for National Letter of Intent: the official document to establish the commitment of a prospective student-athlete to the University of Missouri.

PSA: PSA stands for Prospective Student Athlete: defined as one who has begun classes for the ninth grade.
