Mizzou Gymnastics To Appear On Five 2014 Telecasts

Columbia, Mo. - The Southeastern Conference released their 2014 gymnastics television schedule today. Combined, the networks will broadcast 21 SEC gymnastics meets this season, in addition to the SEC Championship competition. All meets will be broadcasted on a delayed basis.

The Missouri Tigers program will be showcased on five different broadcasts, which will include meets on ESPN, Fox Sports Net, and Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS).

Mizzou's season-opener on the road against Alabama (Jan. 10) will be televised on Fox Sports Net. The team will then make their lone ESPNU appearance of the season, as they hit the road to take on Georgia (Feb. 14). The following week, the Tigers will visit Baton Rouge, La. to compete against LSU (Feb. 28) and the meet will be showcased on Fox Sports Net.

The final month of the regular season brings two more TV appearances, both of which will be broadcasted on CSS. A road-trip to Auburn (Mar. 7), and the lone home televised broadcast of the year against Florida (Mar. 14) rounds out Mizzou's regular season. The SEC Championships in Birmingham, Al. will be viewable on ESPN and ESPNU.

Mizzou will host Lindenwood University for an exhibition meet this Sunday (Dec. 8) at the Hearnes Center. The two programs will square off at 3 p.m. CT and admission is free for all guests.
