Gymnastics Team Begin Official Lifting

The Mizzou Women's Gymnastics team participated in official team lifting this past week. During the end of September and the beginning of October, the team looks to build endurance and strength to maximize their performances this season. The strength program involves cardio, platform circuits, agility drills, core and physioball exercises, and theraband workouts. Along with the weight room conditioning, the team does "in-the-gym" conditioning, in which the exercises are more sport specific.
