LINCOLN, Neb. - Fans can follow junior Sarah Shire (Columbia, Mo.) at the NCAA Individual Gymnastics Championship meet beginning at 6 p.m. tonight from the Bob Devaney Center at the University of Nebraska by clicking on the live stats and live video links above.

Shire will be competing for the national championship on the vault. She must complete two vaults, evaluated by six judges. The two vault scores are then averaged. She is competing in the fourth spot during the first flight of the rotation.

Shire is competing after earning first-team All-American honors on vault on Thursday, the first of her career and the first for Missouri since Julie Dorn in 1990. Her routine garnered a 9.9, ultimately finishing in fourth place for the session, and eighth overall. It wass the highest score for a Missouri gymnast on the event at Nationals, tying Alicia Robinson's 2005 vault, and was the fifth time this year she has hit or surpassed the 9.9 mark on vault.

She also finished 13th on bars (27th overall), 24th on beam (45th overall) and 37th on floor for the session (76th overall) on Thursday.
